Introduction

The pre-installation is expected to be completed by contractors building the site location. The equipment installation should be completed by a Modbar approved technician.

  1. Review the contractors work and make sure the site is ready for installation.

  2. Unpack the equipment and take inventory of what's in the box Inspect contents. If anything looks damaged or out of place contact Modbar Support at https://modbar.com/support/us/

    • don't throw out packing materials until install is complete as some parts can get lost in the packaging.

  3. Insert threaded auxiliary studs into tap Install tap gasket

  6. The AV water and electrical ports are clearly marked for installation Place module where it will be installed connect tap electrical to the module. Be sure to tidy up the cord runs.

    • Trim the water delivery tube using a proper tube cutting device to reduce slack and excess in the water delivery line

  7. attach waterline from the outlet side of the pump to the water inlet on the module connect the pump electrical cord from the pump to the module thoroughly flush incoming water lines before connecting incoming water line to the pump inlet

  8. cut and install the provided drain lines to both the module and drain tray route drain lines into approved drain run Be sure the drain line has a positive downward slope to encourage drainage.

  9. ALWAYS confirm voltage before plugging in equipment use the provided cord do not alter the power cord

    • Attach power cord to module

    • Be sure the main power switch on front of the module is in the off position before plugging in to main power

  10. Your Modbar should come with the appropriate power cord for your market.

  11. be sure to put the element switch into position 1 before turning on red powerbutton Turn on main red power button. Follow the prompt to use the lever to fill the boiler.

    • run at least 500ml through the group to prime the tap.

  12. Turn the element switch to position 2 The machine will now be in OFF mode press OK
