  1. make sure that contractors have completed the pre-install work correctly before installing equipment

    • the Modbar Steam comes packaged in seperate boxes, unpack and be sure your order is complete

    • keep packaging until install is complete

  2. remove nut and washer from tap threads add sealing o-ring

  3. be careful with the tube and data cable on installation insert tap into countertop install and hand tighten nut and washer

    • install and hand tighten nut and washer

    • tighten with a suitable wrench

    • be sure to align the tap to the counter top before tightening the securing nut

  4. place module for install connect data cable and spool excess wire for tidiness

    • by default, use tap 1 if there is only 1 tap

  5. trim excess steam line be careful not to trim the steam tube to short, you will trim excess line later

    • press tube into quick disconnect fitting

  6. use the water line supplied with the module trim and attach water lines
    • use the water line supplied with the module

    • secure the drain lines with supplied hose clamps

    • water and steam can come out of the drain under pressure, be sure the drain lines are secure

  7. be sure that water filtration is appropriate before hooking up the water to the module flush the water lines before connecting water to the module

    • connect 3/8 compression hose from quarter turn water shut off valve to the Steam Module

    • don't turn on the water just yet

    • be sure the power supply on the module is in the off position before connecting power

    • connect power by hooking up the power cable to the module and plugging in to outlet

  8. be sure the module selector knob is set to the fill position, or position I before turning on power to the module turn on main power button the module will begin to fill

    • turn on main power button

    • the module will begin to fill

    • once the module is full, turn the selector to the heating position II

  9. run steam through the module and inspect for leaks trim excess tubing and tidy up cables

    • test boiler refresh feature and make sure drain is secure

    • enjoy your Modbar equipment
